1. About CMOtalk Next Chapter

CMOtalk Next Chapter is a platform developed by CMOtalk in collaboration with AION. The platform provides CMO alumni with an AI-generated professional profile based on a questionnaire, enabling peer discovery and meaningful connections within the CMOtalk community.

2. Access & Registration

Access to CMOtalk Next Chapter is by invitation only. Only email addresses that have been whitelisted by the administrator can register and log in. Registration requires providing your name, email address, and optionally your company, location, and LinkedIn profile URL.

3. Data We Collect

When you use CMOtalk Next Chapter, we collect and process the following data:

• Name, email address, company name, and location
• LinkedIn profile URL (optional)
• Questionnaire answers about your career drivers, leadership style, skills, and ambitions
• AI-generated profile text and punch line
• CV text content (if uploaded, used only for profile enrichment)
• Mentoring preferences and availability
• Connection request messages sent through the platform

4. How We Store Your Data

Your profile data is stored securely in a Supabase database hosted in the European Union (Frankfurt, Germany). Supabase provides enterprise-grade PostgreSQL databases with row-level security and encrypted connections.

The application is hosted on Vercel with HTTPS encryption for all connections. AI profile generation is processed through OpenAI's API with data sent over encrypted connections. Email delivery is handled through Resend with TLS encryption.

5. How We Use Your Data

Your data is used exclusively for:

• Generating your personal AI profile card
• Making your profile discoverable to other members in the CMOtalk community
• Facilitating connection requests between community members
• Matching mentors and mentees based on stated preferences

We do not sell, rent, or share your data with third parties for marketing purposes. Your data is only visible to other whitelisted members of the CMOtalk community.

6. Your Rights

You have the right to:

• Access the personal data we hold about you
• Edit your profile text, punch line, skills, and leadership style
• Request deletion of all your data
• Withdraw your consent at any time

To exercise these rights, use the Settings page in the application or contact the CMOtalk team.

7. AI Processing

Your questionnaire answers are sent to OpenAI's GPT-4o-mini model to generate your professional profile. OpenAI processes this data according to their API data usage policy, which states that API inputs are not used to train models. The generated profile is stored in our database and can be edited by you at any time.
